Transgender found dead

We just received news that a Detroit area transgender teen’s charred body was discovered on the side of I-94.  Shelley “Treasure” Hilliard had been burned to death and discarded on the side of the busy road. The 19-year old is the seventh LGBT person to be burned in only six short weeks.  No one deserves this type of treatment, we must find a way to put an end to all the violence and abuse that is being directed towards our community.
