Beauty editor for IKONS Magazine and make-up artist, Krystal Hardy is the brainchild behind this really dope concept for Twiiter.  She created a contest for those who feel and look beautiful.  @Beauty_IKON is looking for the Beauty of the Week according to followers and supporters.  The votes are in and we would like to introduce our very first IKONS Magazine’s Beauty of the Week.

@Beauty_IKON: What makes a woman beautiful?

@JORDYNFOXX: Her personality and how she treats others. These 2 qualities play a major role in how beauty it perceived by my standards. An ugly personality creates an unattractive person, regardless of how gorgeous you are externally.

@Beauty_IKON: Name three celebrities women that you adore.

@JORDYNFOXX: Oprah, Beyonce, and Trina. The drive and passion that these women possess along with other great qualities, allow them to continue to achieve and remain successful. At some point in their lives they wanted more for themselves and worked hard for it; look at them now.

@Beauty_IKON: What are three items in your makeup bag right now that you can’t live without?

LOL!!! WOW! I only get to pick 3?? Omg, ok. My eyeliner, blush and lipstick. Lol. That was a funny question.

 

@Beauty_IKON: How do you like to destress after a long day?

I start of by getting naked, stripping everything off, so its just me. Take a long hot shower, remove the make up. Put on my relaxing playlist which includes Trey Songz, Pleasure P, and Sammie. Then I’d hit the kitchen to whip up one of my gourmet meals. Of course preparing the meal with only an apron on. Lol. Once done cooking, i sit down and enjoy the meal with a glass of cabernet sauvignon.

@Beauty_IKON: What advice or inspiration can you give to women who may not feel beautiful on how to boost their self-esteem?

 

I would tell them to not allow others to contaminate their minds into believing they are not beautiful. We are all beautiful in our own way. If we don’t believe in ourselves, how can we expect others to believe in us? Inner beauty, loving and respecting ourselves, is the key to self-esteem. That’s why its called “SELF-esteem”.
